5* Gold Holiday Cottages in Cornwall
Changes ahead from the end of September 2015 at Little White Alice Gold Winner for Sustainable Tourism in Visit England Awards for Excellence 2014. During the autumn 2015 we are redeveloping Little White Alice. We have sold part of the business to a lovely local family who have now moved into The Oak and The Hazel House and have taken over ownership of the natural swimming pool. During the next few months Oct - Feb 2016 we will be creating our new home at Little White Alice by connecting The Birch and The Willow House and building a small extension. This will leave just Fearn The Alder House, Nion The Ash House and both of our Eco Arks to rent. We are also developing our new Wild Spa Area with a new wood burning hot tub, sauna, bucket shower and sanctuary room and in the Spring of 2016 we be putting in a new lake. If you would still like to come and stay with us regardless we are going to offer a 20% discount for full week bookings or 10% for a weekend up to Christmas.
There is a real sense of tranquillity. People take time to watch the birds and look at the flowers. It's about proper rest and relaxation. COAST Magazine Jan 2016

Our site produces all its own energy and water so your holiday can be as green as possible. You can even plant a tree in our new woodland to help offset your journey to us.
Locally we are lucky to have the award winning pub The Golden Lion whose food and warm hospitality is well worth the gentle stroll to get there and a little further along the other direction is The Star Inn at Porkellis, a community based pub which is also home for a small shop. For the more active and especially those with children there is the up and coming Stithians Watersports Centre just on our doorstep with not only excellent facilities for a whole range of watersports but a brilliant play park, climbing wall and archery facilities. They also have the excellent Caffe Nova with superb coffees, cakes and light lunches. We also work closely with Explorer Cycles who will not only deliver bikes to your door for you to use for the duration of your stay but they will also take you out on guided tours of the Mineral Tramways.
Heartlands, the newly developed world heritage site with the biggest free cultural playground in the South West is just a few miles down the road from us offering adventures for all the family.
Further afield there is so much to explore in Cornwall and our website has a links to just a few of those favourite places.
New for 2016 will be a new Wild Spa area which we hope to finish by the end of the January. This will be created at the bottom of the celebration woods and will consist of a wood burning sauna, a wood burning hot tub, a meditation pool and a small sanctuary building which could be used for massage, meditation, yoga.
