Weddings and Civil Ceremonies

They made their vows around a ring of water, crowned with an arbour of love.......the celebration began.

Little White Alice is delighted to now have a license for civil ceremonies. If you would like to consider us as a venue for your wedding, civil partnership, a naming ceremony or a renewal of vows please give us a call on 01209 861000. Its just the beginning of conversation and we are still considering how to create this celebration offer.

Little White Alice is ideal for smaller intimate alternative creative weddings, civil partnerships and celebrations with between 2-30 guests. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies in our green oak arbour by the natural swimming pool or in The Oak House or The Studio. We charge a minimal fee for you to have your celebration here but all that we ask is that you are staying guests of Little White Alice by renting at least The Oak House.  Costs vary depending on the season and spaces used and number of guests. We are not wedding planners but Rosie especially can't help getting all inspired and creative and is only too happy to help you create your special day.

 As part of your ceremony we also invite you to plant a tree in our new celebration woods.

 It is also possible to make use of The Studio before or as part of your celebration to help create your own decorations, gifts, memorials, etc.  

We will consider larger celebrations but these would involve hiring the whole site and putting up a marquee or a yurt, etc and we would require that you hire the whole site for as long as all preparations and clearing up needs.

Little White Alice is a perfect place too for Honeymoons or even mini-moons with our Willow and Alder houses perfectly proportioned for romantic retreats.

Our premises are also ideal for alternative hen parties, vow renewals, naming ceremonies, birthdays or larger get togethers. Recent stags and hens have had private chefs into cater for them, got creative in The Studio, gone cycling, surfing, coasteering, had spa days, yoga days and relaxed and chilled out in our beautiful surroundings. We have many contacts with local activity providers and can help point you in the right direction for a great alternative celebration.

A newer venture is to also host memorial celebrations to remember those we have loved and lost.  We will be planting trees in our celebration woods in memory and celebration of their lives and look forward to working with Danu Fox  an independant celebrant with her sensitive creative ceremonies.

We believe each celebration is individual and we are always willing to show people around our facilities and land.  Please just call us and start the conversation.  We're open to all suggestions and will try to support you in anyway we can to create your ideal celebration. We like to get to know our brides and grooms and with our intimate environment have decided to limit the number of weddings we do per year to ten. 

Having our wedding at Little White Alice was the best thing we did. The venue was breathtaking and so unique - exactly what we were looking for, the facilities, the beauty and all the help you can possibly get from the loveliest people we have met, Simon and Rosie. They made our wedding what we had only dreamt it could be and with Rosie's creative skills we had an amazing backdrop and stunning decorations - especially the heart in the arbour which she decorated from scratch just for our special day.
